Luzane Adams and Shanet-Dean Petersen from Boland College in Paarl spent the past 2 weeks in my studio learning about the business of mosaic art. It is a requirement of the Craft Skills course that students spend time in a studio to learn more about the business aspects in a studio. I enjoyed having them around and hope to have them here again at the end of the year.

Mosaic Class - Women of Olifantskop Farm

The Women's Club of Olifantskop Farm attended their first mosaic class in my studio on Saturday, 21 June and impressed us all with their creativity. This was their first encounter with mosaics and they made pot stands. The ladies are keen to join the Breytenbach Centre's mosaic project and will soon start on bigger projects.
